things I did on my Boston vacation

It’s been awhile, hasn’t it? First up, thanks to everyone who bought patterns during my sale last weekend! Ravelry does such a good job of making those things easy, doesn’t it?

And now for some photos from my vacation. I haven’t uploaded the photos from Rhinebeck yet, so this is part 1: Boston and Cambridge (both before and after Rhinebeck weekend!).

danielle!I met up randomly with Danielle at Porter Square – I had my hair cut at a salon there and had a wee bit of time, so we used Twitter to find each other! Super fun.

pizza

Ate pizza at Regina in the North End…

boston-y…and got cannoli too! NOM.

Mike's Diner

Ate about half a HUGE portion at Mike’s Diner (notice the food theme here? This is what I mainly take photos of, ha.)

park

Did a bit of Boston exploring and photo-taking with Ysolda.

david berkeley

Went to a great David Berkeley show at Club Passim in Harvard Square! I hadn’t heard his music before but it was great.

I had a really great time. Re-entry to reality is gonna be hard, but I’m not quite there yet since Ysolda is here in Toronto visiting with me for a bit!

You keep coming to Boston to visit and I never manage to meet you. I can take you to the best chocolatier in Boston.

I’m glad that your visits to the Boston / Cambridge area have been so pleasant.

I’m glad your Boston trip was rad! I miss your face, dear, but I won’t see you (or meet Ysolda) this week at knit-night, unfortunately. We’ll have to find time soon to catch up.

I love Boston! It’s such a great city to explore. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit for several days every couple of years and it’s so much fun. It’s easy to get around and you can get to most places by walking. The food is great and so is the shopping. I’m glad that you had such a great time.
