Thank you for posting this pattern. I actually have a similar question to Julia. I placed stitches on scrap yarn. I used the same scrap yarn through the 10 stitches to do the 50 stitch provisional cast-on, which looks a bit odd. The ten stitches are on the scrap yarn but the 50 provisional stitches are on the needles. It seems to leave a big gap in the knitting before the PM. I know that there other methods of doing this but I think your method seems like it might be the easiest way. I think that I might be missing something. Thanks!

Hii,

Read through your sweater pattern. Thats just wonderful. Was wondering, how should i knit the same, if i had to with 2 straight needles, rather than using round needles. I have actually managed to knit the front part, but stuck with the neck shaping of back. Can you please help me with this.

Thanks
