(Since there are only 46 minutes of content in an hour’s TV show)

We took our time getting through the show – about four days. And that’s a lot of TV time for someone more used to one hour, maybe two a day! Anyway, I knit a lot of Lady E during all that couch-surfing.

This is halfway through the show, with the most accurate colours:

And when it was all done:

That’s the fifth ball of yarn there, which I’m now done. Super fast! I have ten balls in total, and have established an order for the rest of them. I rewound all the balls in the centre-pulls so I could really see the colours in each ball and try to ensure good colour distribution. This is colourway 201, and while it isn’t the most exciting silk garden colourway ever (there’s a lot of black) I think it’s beautiful and will go with lots of things I wear!

I love it.

Wow wow wow. I have been working on an entrelac scarf on an off for MONTHS. You are such a fast knitter! I think this colorway looks great…gotta love Noro. Can’t wait to see it finished!

I’m so glad I’m not the only knitting “nerd” who rewinds her Noro to check colours and establish an order!!! It’s totally worth it! Your E looks great!

Your stole is coming out so beautiful! I love the little bits of lilac that peek through in some of the squares- how unexpected!

That looks gorgeous. I got so addicted to this pattern! Good call on re-winding the Noro—that yarn is full of surprises!

Looks beautiful. I have a huge project set up for this one. I’m going to hand spin the yarn (merino) and navajo ply it so that the colors stay together. Five different shades. I still need to dye the roving (hopefully soon) and seeing yours may have just inspired me to get it started. Thanks!

Just gorgeous! May I ask where the pattern is from? And the colours are wonderful – I think what I like the best is how neatly each colour works into its own little square – can’t wait to see it modelled!

Oh, that’s lovely! I am on ball 5 of mine right now. Winding the rest to get a better look at the colors is a great idea . . . now if only I had a ball winder . . . ;)

I like all of the black personally. And the way it plays off of the earth tones is wonderful!
